Grand Lake Stream Fish Hatchery
Visitor Hours: 8:00am-3:00pm Please Call Ahead.
The United States government first opened the fish hatchery at Grand Lake Stream in 1875, making it one of the oldest sites of fish hatchery activities in the country.
Species reared at the Grand Lake Stream facility include landlocked salmon and brook trout. The facility's annual production is 80,000 catchable fish (>15,000 lbs)

The museum is housed in an historic building that was once a general store and post office. Visitors can explore the various exhibits and displays, that include antique fishing and hunting equipment, photographs, and documents that chronicle the town's past.
